1. Verify production and processing capabilities
Confirm that the manufacturer can stably produce the required precise grades and specifications of Hastelloy alloy pipes for the project. Not all metal processing plants have the production conditions for nickel based alloys. Before initiating an inquiry, verify the actual production qualifications and capacity of the manufacturer's Hastelloy C276 (UNS N10276), C22, and B2 pipes.
2. Key points for professional technical selection
Select appropriate grades based on the medium environment, distinguish between chloride ion working conditions, acidic media, and high-pressure and high-temperature scenarios. When purchasing, it is necessary to request a Material Test Certificate (MTC) to verify the chemical composition and mechanical properties. Seamless pipes have been confirmed to comply with ASTM B622, and welded pipes shall comply with ASTM B619 standard.
