Alloy 925 has higher corrosion resistance, and in both reducing and oxidizing environments, the alloy can resist general corrosion, pitting,vice corrosion, intergranular corrosion and stress corrosion cracking. Some environments where alloy 925 is particularly useful are sour (containing H2S) crude and natural gas,ic acid, phosphoric acid and seawater.
For downhole and surface gas well parts including tubular products, valves, hangers, seat subs, tool joints and packers. This alloy is also suitable fasteners, marine shafts, pump shafts and high-strength pipeline systems.
