Excellent resistance to pitting corrosion, crevice corrosion and chloride-induced stress corrosion cracking; resistance to corrosion in inorganic acids such as nit acid, phosphoric acid, sulfuric acid and hydrochloric acid, especially to mixtures of sulfuric acid and hydrochloric acid; resistance to corrosion in mixtures of various in acids; good corrosion resistance in hydrochloric acid solutions of all concentrations up to 40°C (104°F); good workability and weldability without to postwelding cracking; approved for the manufacture of pressure vessels with a wall temperature ranging from -196 to 450°C.

Application scope domain

Process equipment and components such as digesters and bleaching equipment in the pulp and paper industry, scrubbers, re-heaters, gas regulators, moisture, agitators, etc., in the flue gas desulfurization and IG system, which operate in an acidic gas environment, reactor for acetic acid andetic anhydride products, sulfuric acid condensers.
