GH901 is an austenitic age hardening alloy based on Fe-43Ni-12Cr, with the addition of titanium, aluminum, and equivalent strengthening elements. It contains trace amounts of boron and lower carbon, and undergoes metastable y [Ni3 (Ti, A) phase dispersion strengthening. Trace amounts of aluminum can inhibit the transformation of y to n-Ni3Ti phase. Alloys have high yield strength and durability below 650 ° C, good oxidation resistance below 760 ° C, and stable microstructure after long-term use.
This alloy is a mature alloy developed in the early stages and widely used in the manufacturing of rotating disc-shaped components (turbine discs, compressor discs, shaft necks, etc.), static structural components, turbine outer rings, and fasteners for aviation and ground gas turbine engines operating below 650 ° C.
