ALLOY X is a nickel chromium molybdenum alloy with added cobalt and tungsten. ALLOY X alloy exhibits excellent oxidation resistance at temperatures up to 1200 ° C and can also be used in neutral and reducing atmospheres. At the same time, HASTELLOY X alloy can resist carbonization and nitriding atmospheres. 1. The alloy has good hot working performance, with a forging heating temperature of 1170 ° C. 2. The average grain size of the alloy is closely related to the degree of deformation of the forging and the final forging temperature. 3. The alloy also has satisfactory welding performance and can be welded using methods such as argon arc welding, seam welding, and spot welding. 4. The alloy can be directly added to the furnace that has been heated to the highest working temperature. Immediately remove from the furnace after the necessary insulation time and process to the specified specifications. If the metal temperature drops below the minimum processing temperature, it needs to be reheated. 5. The adhesion of surface oxides and welding slag around the weld seam of alloys is stronger than that of stainless steel, and it is recommended to use fine grain sand strips or fine grain sand wheels for polishing.
ALLOY X has corrosion resistance in various atmospheres at high temperatures and excellent high-temperature strength, making it widely used in various high-temperature environments.
